I am confident

Hier ist der korrigierte Text:

[Chorus:1]

I am confident about this very thing
that He who began a good work in you
will perfect it and finish it
until the day of Jesus Christ

[Verse:1]

There may be storms
and winds against you
The circumstances may be bad
But He has promised
to be with you
until all your days
on earth have ended

[Verse:2]

Sometimes you have
to wait so long
until He comes and
answers your prayer
But He will never
forget about you
He is leading you
in the best way

[Verse:3]

And in the end to live is Christ
and to die is gain
Because I have eternal hope
in Him who
receives me

Die wichtigsten Korrekturen:

  • "wo" → "who" – Tippfehler (Anspielung auf Philipper 1,6: "he who began a good work in you").
  • "he/him" → "He/Him" (durchgehend) – Großschreibung bei Gottesbezug (im Englischen bei religiösen Liedtexten dieser Art üblich, wie du es im Spanischen auch konsequent gehandhabt hast).
  • "have end" → "have ended" – "have" + Partizip Perfekt ("have ended"), nicht die Grundform ("have end"); alternativ wäre auch "come to an end" möglich.
  • "answeres" → "answers" – Tippfehler (3.
  • "on the best way" → "in the best way" – "leading you in the best way" (dich auf die beste Weise führen) ist idiomatischer als "on the best way"; falls du eher den Bildgedanken "auf dem besten Weg" (als Pfad) meintest, wäre auch "on the best path" eine Option.

When we believe in his name

Hier ist der korrigierte Text:

In the beginning was the Word
And the Word was with God
But He came down to the earth
to live and to die for us

When we believe in His name
we get the right to be God's children
We will be born again
through Spirit and Water

Because God loved the world
so much that He gave His own Son
Nobody in the world
should perish, but live — that was His will

Don't hesitate
Take God's gift
The blood of the Lamb
You will see His glory and live

Die wichtigsten Korrekturen:

  • "the word" (1.
  • "it came down" → "He came down" – da im weiteren Verlauf klar von einer Person die Rede ist ("to live and to die for us"), passt das persönliche Pronomen "He" besser als das neutrale "it" (auch wenn "the Word" grammatisch ein "it" wäre, wird im Deutsch/Englischen bei Christusbezug meist "He" verwendet).
  • "For to live and for to die for us" → "to live and to die for us" – "for to" ist keine korrekte englische Konstruktion (im Standardenglisch reicht der einfache Infinitiv "to live/to die").
  • "his name" → "His name" – Großschreibung bei Gottesbezug.
  • "Gods children" → "God's children" – fehlender Apostroph (Genitiv-s).
  • "Because God loves the world / So much that he gave" → "Because God loved the world / so much that He gave" – 1) Anspielung auf Johannes 3,16, dort steht die Vergangenheitsform "loved" ("so sehr liebte"), nicht "loves"; 2) "he" → "He" (Großschreibung).
  • "his own son" → "His own Son" – Großschreibung bei "His" (Gottesbezug) und "Son" (Ehrentitel für Christus).
  • "but live was his will" → "but live — that was His will" – der ursprüngliche Satz war grammatisch unklar; ich habe ihn zu "but live — that was His will" (sondern lebe – das war sein Wille) umformuliert, um den Sinn klarer zu machen. Bitte prüfen, ob das deiner Intention entspricht.
  • "Don t hesitate" → "Don't hesitate" – fehlender Apostroph.
  • "Gods gift" → "God's gift" – fehlender Apostroph.
  • "lamb" → "Lamb" – Großschreibung als Ehrentitel für Christus ("Lamb of God", Johannes 1,29).
  • "his glory" → "His glory" – Großschreibung.

Living Water

She walked in the sun
in the heat of the day
far away from the people

She was alone and so afraid
of the fingers pointing at her

She was surprised to meet a person
sitting by the well there

He said to her: if you give me your troubles
I will give you living water in return

He is the living water
He stills the thirst of your soul
When you receive Him as Redeemer
you will never thirst again

Come, drink from the living water
Let your life be changed
And when you have drunk
from the water
you can give to others too

She had had five husbands
and the one she was living with
did not marry her

She was, for the people, a sinful person
They avoided contact with her

She was so surprised to meet Jesus
who knew everything about her

He said: I will give your soul the water
that you have searched for in men

Die wichtigsten Korrekturen:

  • "pointing on her" → "pointing at her" – "point at someone" ist die korrekte Präposition, nicht "point on".
  • "Whe was surprised" → "She was surprised" – Tippfehler.
  • "Sitting on the well" → "sitting by the well" – man sitzt "bei/neben" einem Brunnen ("by the well"), nicht "auf" ihm ("on the well").
  • "He said to her if you give me" → "He said to her: if you give me" – Doppelpunkt für die wörtliche Rede ergänzt.
  • "receive him" → "receive Him" – Großschreibung bei Gottesbezug.
  • "Let your life been changed" → "Let your life be changed" – "been" (Partizip) ist hier grammatisch falsch, korrekt ist die Grundform "be" nach "let".
  • "She had five husband and whoom she was living with did not marry her" → "She had had five husbands and the one she was living with did not marry her" – mehrere Korrekturen: 1) "five husband" → "five husbands" (Plural), 2) da diese Ehen bereits in der Vergangenheit vor der aktuellen Situation lagen, ist "had had" (Past Perfect) korrekter als nur "had", 3) "whoom" ist kein englisches Wort und grammatisch auch nicht passend; gemeint ist "der Mann, mit dem sie zusammenlebte" – "the one she was living with" (Anspielung auf Johannes 4,18).
  • "She was for the people a sinny person" → "She was, for the people, a sinful person" – 1) "sinny" ist kein englisches Wort, korrekt ist "sinful" (sündig), 2) Kommas zur besseren Satzstruktur ergänzt.
  • "Who knew" → "who knew" – Kleinschreibung (kein neuer Satz, sondern Relativsatz).
  • "He said I will give your soul the water" → "He said: I will give your soul the water" – Doppelpunkt ergänzt.
  • "That you have searched in men" → "that you have searched for in men" – "search for something" braucht die Präposition "for".

I m singing joyfully

I'm singing joyfully because You are my Lord
You created me, hid me in secret
You have a plan for me to live on this earth
That's why I'm standing here to glorify You

You give me hope in hopeless situations
You give me strength when I am weak
When I am sad, You give me consolation
In the darkness, You turn on a light

You give me a place where I can live
I can enjoy the whole creation
So many flowers are talking about You
The little butterflies, fearfully formed
by Thy hand

And when I have doubts
and ask myself
if You are there and take care of me
Your Holy Spirit
answers all questions
He's leading me through life
and transforming me

Die wichtigsten Korrekturen:

  • "I m singing" → "I'm singing" – fehlender Apostroph.
  • "you" → "You" (durchgehend) – Großschreibung bei Gottesbezug (wie in den vorherigen englischen Liedern konsequent gehandhabt).
  • "You have created me, hided in the secret" → "You created me, hid me in secret" – 1) "have created" (Present Perfect) passt hier weniger gut als die einfache Vergangenheit "created", da es sich um einen abgeschlossenen Schöpfungsakt handelt (wie in Psalm 139,13 "you knit me together"), 2) "hided" ist keine korrekte Form von "to hide" (unregelmäßiges Verb: hide–hid–hidden), 3) "hided in the secret" war grammatisch unvollständig – ergänzt zu "hid me in secret" (Anspielung auf Psalm 139,15: "gemacht im Verborgenen").
  • "That s why" → "That's why" – fehlender Apostroph.
  • "I m standing here for to glorify" → "I'm standing here to glorify You" – 1) Apostroph ergänzt, 2) "for to" ist keine korrekte englische Konstruktion (wie im vorherigen Lied korrigiert), 3) "glorify" braucht ein Objekt – "You" ergänzt.
  • "take care on me" → "take care of me" – "take care of someone" ist die korrekte Präposition, nicht "on".
  • "The little butterflies formed fearful by thy hand" → "The little butterflies, fearfully formed by Thy hand" – 1) "formed fearful" ist grammatisch unklar; Anspielung auf Psalm 139,14 ("fearfully and wonderfully made") – daher "fearfully formed" (furchtbar/wunderbar geformt), 2) "thy" → "Thy" (Großschreibung bei Gottesbezug, passend zum archaischen Stil "thy" statt "your").
  • "and asking myself" → "and ask myself" – für die Parallelität mit "when I have doubts and ask myself" (beide im einfachen Präsens).
  • "is answering all questions" → "answers all questions" – die einfache Präsensform "answers" (für eine allgemeine, wiederkehrende Wahrheit) passt besser als die Verlaufsform "is answering".
  • "He s leading" → "He's leading" – fehlender Apostroph.

And I will praise you

You created my inward parts
You knit me together in my mother's womb
You made me wonderfully in secret
You formed me and You saw me

Every day of my life
has a plan and a purpose
I walk with You on my way
because You are the One who knows my worth

And I will praise You
because You created me
I will praise You
because I am Your child
I will praise You
from the morning to the evening
I will praise You until the day I come to You

When I am sitting or standing
You know about my thoughts
whether I am walking or lying down
I cannot hide from You

From the first breath I took
until the last I will exhale
You know all my ways
and You like to be with me

And when I fail
You paid the price
You remember that I am dust
and You have mercy on me

Die wichtigsten Korrekturen:

  • "you" → "You" (durchgehend) – Großschreibung bei Gottesbezug.
  • "mother s womb" → "mother's womb" – fehlender Apostroph.
  • "made me wonderful in the secret" → "made me wonderfully in secret" – 1) "wonderfully" (Adverb) statt "wonderful" (Adjektiv), da es das Verb "made" näher beschreibt (Anspielung auf Psalm 139,14: "fearfully and wonderfully made"), 2) "in the secret" → "in secret" (ohne Artikel ist die idiomatische Form).
  • "the one who knows" → "the One who knows" – Großschreibung als Bezugstitel auf Gott.
  • "I will come to you" → "I come to You" – "will come" (Futur) passt inhaltlich nicht zusammen mit "until the day I will come" (Doppel-Futur klingt unbeholfen); "until the day I come to You" ist idiomatischer.
  • "I am walking or lying" → "whether I am walking or lying down" – 1) "whether" ergänzt für einen klareren Satzanschluss an die vorherige Zeile (Anspielung auf Psalm 139,2-3), 2) "lying down" (sich hinlegen/liegen) ist vollständiger als nur "lying" (was auch "lügen" bedeuten kann – Verwechslungsgefahr).
  • "You payed the prize" → "You paid the price" – 1) "payed" ist eine seltene/veraltete Form, im modernen Englisch korrekt ist "paid", 2) "prize" bedeutet "Preis" im Sinne von "Gewinn/Auszeichnung", gemeint ist hier aber "price" (der Preis, den man bezahlt).

Hier ist der korrigierte Text:

It's Your power that makes me change
It's Your Spirit that converts me into Your image
It's Your mercy that accepts me as I am
It's Your grace that turns me into Your child

So many times I have sought You on my own
I wanted to please You through good works
But now I know that You are the One who changes me
when I repent from dead works

Thy purifying fire burns away
everything that is not from You
There on the cross You paid the price
I walk in grace and I am free

Die wichtigsten Korrekturen:

  • "It s" → "It's" (mehrfach) – fehlender Apostroph.
  • "you"/"your" → "You"/"Your" (durchgehend) – Großschreibung bei Gottesbezug.
  • "converts me in to your image" → "converts me into Your image" – "in to" (getrennt) → "into" (ein Wort); "in to" wäre nur korrekt, wenn "in" zu einem Verb gehört (z. B. "hand something in to someone"), hier ist aber die Präposition "into" (in ... hinein) gemeint.
  • "I have seeked you" → "I have sought You" – "seek" ist unregelmäßig (seek–sought–sought), "seeked" ist keine korrekte Form.
  • "you are the one who changes" → "You are the One who changes me" – 1) Großschreibung als Ehrentitel, 2) "changes" braucht hier ein Objekt ("me" ergänzt), da sonst der Satz unvollständig wirkt ("der verändert" statt "der mich verändert").

there was a sheep which went astray

There was a sheep which went astray
When Jesus counted his flock it missed
So Jesus left the ninetynine
and went to searth the one which missed

For every sheep is worthful for him, who came to the earth to save
For every sinner that comes to repent, the heavenly angels rejoice

A woman lost a ten penny coin
She light all lights in the house where she lived
and weeped and searched with diligence
And when she got it she rejoiced with her friends

For every coin is worthful....

Are you a sheep or a penny lost
Come to the Lord who is longing for you
He invites you to his great supper meal
Washes you clean with new clothes he will give

For every lost one is worthful for him....
