Teach me (Enseñame)

 Many times I don't understand the meaning of my path

I often wonder why I live here.

Many things I did not well in my life

But you tell me that all has its purpose for you


Teach me to see life with your eyes

Teach me the laws of your kingdom

Teach me to love like you loved

Teach me to live with you Lord


Father you give me bread and not stone

But when I don't ask I don't receive anything

I'm going to start asking with faith
 

I m knowing that your plans are perfect for me

 

Sometimes you don't allow the world to deliver

Because I have to learn to look only in you

You want to be the source of joy and happiness

Everything else is a just flower on the road

 

Live with you every day in your presence

Spend my time and my life for you

It makes me understand that you are the king of heaven

and even though that I am small I m  important to you

As the deer bellows into the water

my soul seeks water in you

You have water, living water

there is only rest in you

In the desert of life you give us to drink

Being with you, quench my thirst I don't need more

In how many moments of sadness your hand was on me

You are the almighty God nothing is impossible for you

You rescue me to be my friend and I will adore you

You show me many treasures when I faithfully seek you

You will not lack anything

When the hope of your life disappears

When you lose everything that was important to you 

When the pain climbs over the joy 

When the night surrounds and you feeling fear 

he has a promise to you: 

You will not lack anything 

Even if the night of death reigns 

You will not lack anything 

Even if the enemies are laughing

and the shaddows fall

He holds you in his  hand

he is with you

There s nothing you lack 

And you think these are all empty words

for where is God who loves you when despair controls you

And you ask about God's goodness

When in the  valley of darkness you can't see  anymore

Just believe he said: 

Maybe he doesn't give you what you want

But his table is set, he just wants you to come

Turn your gaze today

of all that  scares you

to the one who gives hope
