Not everything is good

Hier ist der korrigierte Text:

Not everything is good, not everything is fine
But it works together for good
for those who love Him and give Him their heart
Everything works together for the best

Often I have hoped so much, and it went wrong for me
I felt so disappointed, so empty and forgotten
Shall I really trust in Him, I asked myself in my heart
But in His word He has promised
that everything works together for good

Looking at my way of life with His eyes, with His point of view
makes all the troubles so small and unimportant
A light in the dark is seen much brighter and more clearly
Every tear has its purpose, and He loves to see you smiling

Open your heart to the living God, who never gives you up
When you think He is sleeping, He is working for you
When the circumstances are so bad, He has everything under control
He is shaping your life gently with His hands

Die wichtigsten Korrekturen:

  • "he"/"his"/"him" → "He"/"His"/"Him" (durchgehend) – Großschreibung bei Gottesbezug.
  • "it serves to the good" → "it works together for good" – wie im vorherigen Lied: Anspielung auf Römer 8,28, "works together for good" ist die idiomatische Formulierung statt "serves to the good".
  • "deliver him their heart" → "give Him their heart" – "deliver someone their heart" ist keine idiomatische englische Wendung; "give Him their heart" ist der natürliche, gebräuchliche Ausdruck.
  • "Everything is serving for the best" → "Everything works together for the best" – wie oben.
  • "it went wrong for me" – Komma nach "so much" ergänzt für bessere Lesbarkeit.
  • "Shall I really trust in him I asked myself" → "Shall I really trust in Him, I asked myself" – Komma zur Satztrennung ergänzt.
  • "But in this word he has promised" → "But in His word He has promised" – 1) "this word" → "His word" (sein Wort, gemeint ist die Bibel), 2) Großschreibung.
  • "that everything is for the good" → "that everything works together for good" – konsistent mit der übrigen Formulierung im Lied.
  • "Looking on my way of live" → "Looking at my way of life" – 1) "look at" ist die korrekte Präposition, nicht "look on" in diesem Sinne, 2) "live" (Verb) → "life" (Substantiv), Tippfehler.
  • "with his eyes with his point of view" → "with His eyes, with His point of view" – Komma zur besseren Lesbarkeit ergänzt.
  • "Every tear has its purpose and he loves" → "Every tear has its purpose, and He loves" – Komma ergänzt.
  • "who never gives you away" → "who never gives you up" – "give someone away" bedeutet "jemanden weggeben/verraten" (z. B. eine Braut beim Traualtar), "give up on someone" (jemanden aufgeben) ist hier der gemeinte Sinn.
  • "When you think he is sleeping he is working for you" → "When you think He is sleeping, He is working for you" – Komma zur Satztrennung ergänzt.
  • "When the circumstances are so bad he has" → "When the circumstances are so bad, He has" – Komma ergänzt.
  • "forming your life sorftly" → "shaping your life gently" – 1) "sorftly" war ein Tippfehler für "softly", 2) "shaping...gently" (sanft formend) ist im Bildzusammenhang mit "Händen, die formen" idiomatischer als "forming...softly", aber falls du "softly" bevorzugst, wäre auch "forming your life softly with His hands" grammatisch korrekt.

Don t be afraid my beloved Child

When life gets hard, when troubles grow
when I don't know how to survive
I close the door, come into Your presence
hear from You in my silent room
And You say:

Don't be afraid, My beloved child
I have everything prepared for you
Your future is in My hand
because I loved you before the world existed

And I look back to when life seemed to have no meaning
remembering times of Your presence
that gave me strength to overcome
because You said

And then I come before You, at Your throne, bowing my knees before You
I give You praise for all You've done
for every single blessing
because it is true

Hier ist der korrigierte Text:

There is always a way out of fear and darkness
You always open a door
Even when it seems to be impossible
There is always a solution
You don't leave us alone, You open the doors
even if they are locked and closed

Millions in the desert and no food for all
they had listened to Your preaching and forgotten to eat
Two fish and five loaves could not last for all
but You gave Your blessing and there was food in overflow

Daniel was sent to the lions because he praised Your name
The lions were very hungry — no chance to survive
But the angels closed the mouths of the animals that night
and in the end his enemies were eaten up instead

Abraham was hoping to receive a son
The years went by, but nothing was happening in his life
But at the age when it was impossible, he held a baby in his arms
being aware that he only received it by believing in You

Die wichtigsten Korrekturen:

  • "You" → "You" (durchgehend Großschreibung bei Gottesbezug, wie in den vorherigen Liedern).
  • "Even it it seams" → "Even when it seems" – 1) "it it" war ein Tippfehler, gemeint ist "when", 2) "seams" ("Nähte") → "seems" (scheint).
  • "they have listend to your preaching and forgot to eat" → "they had listened to Your preaching and forgotten to eat" – 1) "listend" → "listened" (Tippfehler), 2) für die Vorzeitigkeit zu "forgot" passt "had listened" (Past Perfect) besser, 3) "forgot" → "forgotten" für die parallele Zeitform mit "had listened".
  • "Two fishes and five breads" → "Two fish and five loaves" – 1) der Plural von "fish" ist meist "fish" (nicht "fishes", außer bei verschiedenen Fischarten), 2) "bread" ist im Englischen meist unzählbar; für "Brote" (als einzelne Laibe) ist "loaves" der korrekte Begriff (Anspielung auf die Speisung der 5000).
  • "there was food in overflow" – korrekt, keine Änderung nötig.
  • "Daniel was send to the lions" → "Daniel was sent to the lions" – "send" (Grundform) → "sent" (Partizip Perfekt für das Passiv).
  • "no change to survive" → "no chance to survive" – Tippfehler ("change" = Veränderung, gemeint ist "chance" = Chance).
  • "closed the mouth of the animals thant night" → "closed the mouths of the animals that night" – 1) "mouth" → "mouths" (Plural, da mehrere Löwen), 2) "thant" → "that" (Tippfehler).
  • "his enemies were eaten up that day" → "his enemies were eaten up instead" – "that day" wiederholt sich unnötig mit "that night" aus der vorherigen Zeile; "instead" (stattdessen) verdeutlicht den beabsichtigten Kontrast (die Löwen fraßen nicht Daniel, sondern am Ende seine Feinde). Falls du "that day" bewusst beibehalten möchtest, ist das auch möglich.
  • "Abraham was hoping for a son to receive" → "Abraham was hoping to receive a son" – natürlichere Wortstellung im Englischen.
  • "in the age it was impossible" → "at the age when it was impossible" – "at the age when" ist die korrekte Konstruktion; "in the age it" ergibt so keinen Sinn.
  • "he hold a baby" → "he held a baby" – "hold" (Grundform) → "held" (Präteritum).
  • "he only received in believing in you" → "he only received it by believing in You" – 1) "received" braucht ein Objekt ("it" ergänzt), 2) "by believing" (durch das Glauben) ist grammatisch korrekter als "in believing" in diesem Kontext.
