We are send to bring the Gospel

Hier ist der Text – er ist bereits weitgehend korrekt. Ich habe nur eine kleine stilistische Anmerkung:

We are sent to bring the gospel
to a dying world today,
to lift up the name of Jesus,
giving hope in despair.
We are marching on each day,
nothing can stop us now.
We resist the king of darkness,
reclaiming the earth for God.

And we proclaim
the name of Jesus.
We proclaim
His kingdom now.
We proclaim
the power of Jesus.
We proclaim His victory.

And if we fall, we will stand up.
We go on even if we are weak.
We are soldiers of the living God,
sent into a battle of life and death.

He is the living God.
He is the Lamb on the throne.
He is the Messiah.
He has paid the price for us.

Die einzige Anmerkung:

  • "conquering back the earth for God" → "reclaiming the earth for God" – "conquering back" ist keine idiomatische englische Konstruktion; "reclaim" (zurückerobern/zurückholen) drückt genau diesen Gedanken aus und klingt natürlicher. Falls du das militärische Bild von "conquering" (erobern) unbedingt beibehalten möchtest, wäre auch "reconquering the earth for God" eine Option — beides ist möglich, "reclaiming" fließt beim Singen aber etwas leichter.

Ansonsten ist der Text grammatisch sauber, Großschreibung von "He/His" bei Gottesbezug war bereits durchgehend korrekt vorhanden.

I wish you a merrily Christmas

I wish you a merrily Christmas

I wish you a merrily christmas
and a good and happy new year
I hope you have
a wonderful christmas time
and that your wishes
become true

Too many people
think on christmas on gifts
which they want to buy
for all their friends
But I want to tell you
that Christmas is more
Than parcels under a tree

It wants to remind us
on the time
when God father has given us
his own son
who lived among us
and who has solved
the whole world
from condenation

Maybe you think
every year it s the same
everyone has good wishes
but in the end
Every year goes on
in the same ways
and every year is harder
than that before

But I want to tell you
that you need do worry
you don t have to deseperate
because there is hope for you
Cause Jesus will help you
to find a new way
that is the message
of the christmas time

Heal my Heart

Heal my heart o God you have promised to restore
Everything that has been destroyend
by the power of the darkness
Save my life o Lord
From the evel which is burden me
Keep my feet on the path of your glority

Sometime I have doubts about your goodness
When I see that my life is floating away in troubles
Sometimes i am wondering Why I do not see your works
But when I change my point of view
I can see the cross where you died for me

Sometimes life is so dark and i seems the night will never end
I think I have to live forever in sickness and desesperation
But you are the Lord of time who changes everything
you have promised it
you always give a new morning after every night

And now I enter in you presence fellowshiping with you lord
I lay all my burden to the footh of the cross
Receving your gift of healing and salvation
I am waiting paciently until your promise comes true
I belive in you

Letter of love

Hier ist der korrigierte Text:

I want to write a letter of love
to You, my God, my Savior
but there are no words to express
what my heart is feeling for You

So I offer You a song
of thanksgiving to praise You
and You see my heart
longing for You

First of all, I give You thanks
that You redeemed my life from the dark
And all that I have failed at
is forgiven and forgotten
And thank You for my sanity
that You gave me Your healing
All that has burdened me
I will never mention again

And thank You for my friends
for every person that loves me
Sharing Your gifts with each other
makes us so happy

And thank You for this land
where You have brought me
to live in
I have received so many blessings here
and they treat me as one of them

And each day You are providing me
with everything that I need
Because I'm always in Your hand
and You will never leave me

But most of all I thank You
that You have created me
that You have given this life to me
just because You love me

Die wichtigsten Korrekturen:

  • "you"/"your" → "You"/"Your" (durchgehend) – Großschreibung bei Gottesbezug.
Falls du britisches Englisch bevorzugst, wäre "Saviour" ebenso korrekt.
  • "all that I have failed" → "all that I have failed at" – "fail" braucht hier die Präposition "at" ("bei etwas versagen"), sonst wäre "failed" transitiv gemeint (etwas/jemanden im Stich lassen), was hier nicht der Sinn ist.
  • "Sharing your gifts with each others" → "Sharing Your gifts with each other" – "each other" (nicht "each others" mit "s") ist die korrekte Form.
  • "I have received so much blessings" → "I have received so many blessings" – "blessings" ist zählbar (Plural), daher "many" statt "much".
  • "I m" → "I'm" – fehlender Apostroph.
  • "you never will leave me" → "You will never leave me" – natürlichere Wortstellung im Englischen ("will never" statt "never will").

Wings of the morning

Wings of the morning

Hier ist der korrigierte Text (basierend auf Psalm 139):

If I took the wings of the morning
and flew to the shore farthest away
even there You are already, You lead me
and Your hand is holding me

Lord, You search me
Lord, You know me
Lord, You're holding me
You're my Creator
You're my Provider
You are the Shepherd of my life

If I rose to the heavens
You're already there
If I went down to Sheol
I could not hide from You

Now I have seen
that there's no point
in hiding from Your face
Everywhere I go
You are there
I can't flee from You

All of my days You know
Every second of my life
in darkness and light
At the end of space
You are finding me

Die wichtigsten Korrekturen:

  • "I flow to the shore" → "flew to the shore" – "flow" (fließen) → "flew" (Präteritum von "fly", fliegen) – hier war ein Verb verwechselt worden.
  • "most far away" → "farthest away" – für den Superlativ von "far" ist "farthest" die korrekte Form, nicht "most far".
  • "Than you re already there" → "even there You are already" – 1) "Than" (als Vergleichswort) passt hier nicht, gemeint ist wohl "then" oder eher ein Ausdruck wie "even there" (selbst dort), passend zum biblischen Original (Psalm 139,9-10: "even there your hand will guide me"), 2) Apostroph und Großschreibung bei "You're" ergänzt.
  • "you re" → "You're" (durchgehend) – fehlender Apostroph, Großschreibung bei Gottesbezug.
  • "pastor" → "Shepherd" – "pastor" im Englischen bedeutet "Pfarrer/Geistlicher", nicht "Hirte"; das biblische Bild von Gott als Hirte (Psalm 23) heißt im Englischen "Shepherd".
  • "If I arose to the heaven" → "If I rose to the heavens" – 1) "arose" ist die Präteritumform von "arise", aber nach "if" (hypothetisch) passt hier die einfache Form "rose" (von "rise") besser, 2) "the heavens" (Plural) ist die gebräuchlichere biblische Form.
  • "If I went down to the sheol" → "If I went down to Sheol" – "Sheol" ist ein Eigenname und wird ohne Artikel geschrieben, großgeschrieben.
  • "I could not hide me" → "I could not hide from You" – "hide me" ist grammatisch unvollständig; "hide from" ist die korrekte Präposition, "from You" ergänzt für den Sinn (Anspielung auf Psalm 139,7).
  • "that there s no meaning / To hide away from your face" → "that there's no point / in hiding from Your face" – 1) Apostroph ergänzt, 2) "no meaning to hide" ist unidiomatisch; "no point in hiding" (es hat keinen Sinn, sich zu verstecken) ist die natürliche Formulierung, 3) Großschreibung bei "Your".
  • "I can t fly from you" → "I can't flee from You" – 1) Apostroph ergänzt, 2) "fly from" (wegfliegen von) passt inhaltlich weniger gut als "flee from" (fliehen vor) – Anspielung auf Psalm 139,7 ("where shall I flee from your presence?").
  • "All of my days you are knowing" → "All of my days You know" – "are knowing" ist grammatisch falsch ("know" ist ein Zustandsverb, das im Englischen keine Verlaufsform bildet); korrekt ist die einfache Form "You know".
  • "In Darkness and light" → "in darkness and light" – Kleinschreibung (kein Satzanfang/Eigenname).
  • "at the end of the space" → "At the end of space" – "space" (der Raum/das Weltall) wird hier ohne Artikel verwendet, wie im übertragenen, poetischen Sinn üblich.

Everything is serving for the good

Everything is serving for the good

Hier ist der korrigierte Text:

In the night, when the day
is ending, I am thinking of You
Another day I have lived,
blessed by You, my Lord

And when I had
sad moments in this day
everything is working
together for my good

Everything works together for good
for those who love You
Everything works together for good
for those who love You

Sometimes I don't understand
the plans You have for me
Full of impatience
I am tired of waiting for You
But You say in Your word
that Your ways are good
And everything is working
together for my good

You are the rock
and I am built on You
In all circumstances
I am firm and protected by You
Even if sometimes
I meet affliction
everything is working
together for my good

Die wichtigsten Korrekturen:

  • "you"/"your" → "You"/"Your" (durchgehend) – Großschreibung bei Gottesbezug (wie in den vorherigen englischen Liedern konsequent gehandhabt).
  • "blessed of you" → "blessed by You" – "blessed by" ist die korrekte Präposition ("gesegnet von dir"), nicht "blessed of".
  • "Everything is serving for the good to me" → "everything is working together for my good" – Anspielung auf Römer 8,28 ("all things work together for good"); "is serving for the good to me" ist keine idiomatische Konstruktion. Ich habe konsequent die bekannte biblische Formulierung "everything works/is working together for good" verwendet.
  • "Everything is serving to the good / For them who are loving you" → "Everything works together for good / for those who love You" – 1) wie oben die idiomatische Bibelformulierung, 2) "for those who love You" ist die gebräuchliche Wendung (statt "for them who are loving you").
  • "the planes you have for me" → "the plans You have for me" – "planes" (Flugzeuge/Ebenen) → "plans" (Pläne), Tippfehler.
  • "I don t understand" → "I don't understand" – fehlender Apostroph.
  • "Even If sometimes" → "Even if sometimes" – Kleinschreibung von "if" (kein Satzanfang/Eigenname).

Kleiner Hinweis: Ich habe "everything is serving for the good to me" durchgehend zu "everything is working together for my good" bzw. in den Refrainzeilen zu "everything works together for good" vereinheitlicht, da beide Formulierungen im Original leicht unterschiedlich waren (mal "is serving", mal die Refrainform) – jetzt ist der Bezug zu Römer 8,28 klar und einheitlich. Falls du lieber näher am ursprünglichen Wortlaut "is serving for my good" bleiben möchtest (auch wenn es weniger idiomatisch ist), sag gerne Bescheid.

Is it me who crucified Jesus

Hier ist der korrigierte Text:

When He touches me with His Spirit
my heart begins to cry
because I feel
what pain I caused Him with my sins

When I look to the cross I see
what I have done with my life
Disobeying and destroying
casting away His grace

Is it me who crucified Jesus
Is it me who put the nails in His hands
Is it me He was praying for on the cross
"Father, forgive them,
for they do not know what they're doing"

And the sin in my life was changing me
I did not know what I did
but this is no excuse
to refuse
the grace He wanted to give me

Now I am bowing my knees before Him
praying: Father, forgive me
Receiving the gift of His salvation
of His never-ending grace

Die wichtigsten Korrekturen:

  • "he"/"his"/"him" → "He"/"His"/"Him" (durchgehend) – Großschreibung bei Gottesbezug (wie in den vorherigen englischen Liedern konsequent gehandhabt).
  • "my heart begins to cry / because I fell" → "my heart begins to cry / because I feel" – "fell" (Präteritum von "fall") ergibt hier keinen Sinn; gemeint ist vermutlich "feel" (ich fühle/spüre). Bitte prüfen, ob das deiner Absicht entspricht.
  • "which pain I caused him" → "what pain I caused Him" – "which" passt hier grammatisch nicht; "what pain" (welchen Schmerz/was für einen Schmerz) ist die korrekte Konstruktion.
  • "put the nails in his hand" → "put the nails in His hands" – Plural "hands" (es waren beide Hände), zudem Großschreibung.
  • "Father forgive / they do not know what they re doing" → "Father, forgive them, / for they do not know what they're doing" – 1) Anspielung auf Lukas 23,34 – im englischen Bibeltext lautet es "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do"; "forgive" braucht ein Objekt ("them"), 2) "for" ergänzt für den kausalen Zusammenhang, 3) Apostroph in "they're" ergänzt. In Anführungszeichen gesetzt, da es sich um ein wörtliches Zitat handelt.
  • "was chaning me" → "was changing me" – Tippfehler.
  • "Now I am boing my knees" → "Now I am bowing my knees" – Tippfehler ("boing" → "bowing").
  • "Reciving" → "Receiving" – Tippfehler.
  • "neverending" → "never-ending" – im Englischen wird dieses zusammengesetzte Adjektiv meist mit Bindestrich geschrieben.

⚠️ Bitte insbesondere die Zeile "because I feel" (ursprünglich "because I fell") noch einmal prüfen — falls du tatsächlich etwas anderes meintest (z. B. "because I failed" – weil ich versagt habe), sag gerne Bescheid, dann passe ich es entsprechend an.
