And I will praise you

You created my inward parts
You knit me together in my mother's womb
You made me wonderfully in secret
You formed me and You saw me

Every day of my life
has a plan and a purpose
I walk with You on my way
because You are the One who knows my worth

And I will praise You
because You created me
I will praise You
because I am Your child
I will praise You
from the morning to the evening
I will praise You until the day I come to You

When I am sitting or standing
You know about my thoughts
whether I am walking or lying down
I cannot hide from You

From the first breath I took
until the last I will exhale
You know all my ways
and You like to be with me

And when I fail
You paid the price
You remember that I am dust
and You have mercy on me

Die wichtigsten Korrekturen:

  • "you" → "You" (durchgehend) – Großschreibung bei Gottesbezug.
  • "mother s womb" → "mother's womb" – fehlender Apostroph.
  • "made me wonderful in the secret" → "made me wonderfully in secret" – 1) "wonderfully" (Adverb) statt "wonderful" (Adjektiv), da es das Verb "made" näher beschreibt (Anspielung auf Psalm 139,14: "fearfully and wonderfully made"), 2) "in the secret" → "in secret" (ohne Artikel ist die idiomatische Form).
  • "the one who knows" → "the One who knows" – Großschreibung als Bezugstitel auf Gott.
  • "I will come to you" → "I come to You" – "will come" (Futur) passt inhaltlich nicht zusammen mit "until the day I will come" (Doppel-Futur klingt unbeholfen); "until the day I come to You" ist idiomatischer.
  • "I am walking or lying" → "whether I am walking or lying down" – 1) "whether" ergänzt für einen klareren Satzanschluss an die vorherige Zeile (Anspielung auf Psalm 139,2-3), 2) "lying down" (sich hinlegen/liegen) ist vollständiger als nur "lying" (was auch "lügen" bedeuten kann – Verwechslungsgefahr).
  • "You payed the prize" → "You paid the price" – 1) "payed" ist eine seltene/veraltete Form, im modernen Englisch korrekt ist "paid", 2) "prize" bedeutet "Preis" im Sinne von "Gewinn/Auszeichnung", gemeint ist hier aber "price" (der Preis, den man bezahlt).

Hier ist der korrigierte Text:

It's Your power that makes me change
It's Your Spirit that converts me into Your image
It's Your mercy that accepts me as I am
It's Your grace that turns me into Your child

So many times I have sought You on my own
I wanted to please You through good works
But now I know that You are the One who changes me
when I repent from dead works

Thy purifying fire burns away
everything that is not from You
There on the cross You paid the price
I walk in grace and I am free

Die wichtigsten Korrekturen:

  • "It s" → "It's" (mehrfach) – fehlender Apostroph.
  • "you"/"your" → "You"/"Your" (durchgehend) – Großschreibung bei Gottesbezug.
  • "converts me in to your image" → "converts me into Your image" – "in to" (getrennt) → "into" (ein Wort); "in to" wäre nur korrekt, wenn "in" zu einem Verb gehört (z. B. "hand something in to someone"), hier ist aber die Präposition "into" (in ... hinein) gemeint.
  • "I have seeked you" → "I have sought You" – "seek" ist unregelmäßig (seek–sought–sought), "seeked" ist keine korrekte Form.
  • "you are the one who changes" → "You are the One who changes me" – 1) Großschreibung als Ehrentitel, 2) "changes" braucht hier ein Objekt ("me" ergänzt), da sonst der Satz unvollständig wirkt ("der verändert" statt "der mich verändert").

there was a sheep which went astray

There was a sheep which went astray
When Jesus counted his flock it missed
So Jesus left the ninetynine
and went to searth the one which missed

For every sheep is worthful for him, who came to the earth to save
For every sinner that comes to repent, the heavenly angels rejoice

A woman lost a ten penny coin
She light all lights in the house where she lived
and weeped and searched with diligence
And when she got it she rejoiced with her friends

For every coin is worthful....

Are you a sheep or a penny lost
Come to the Lord who is longing for you
He invites you to his great supper meal
Washes you clean with new clothes he will give

For every lost one is worthful for him....

i want to be in holy places (Quiero estar en lugares santos)

Hier ist der korrigierte Text:

One day I heard His calling
"Sinner, repent"
I heard and received Jesus Christ
And now I am a child of God

From the kingdom of evil and darkness
He has put me in the kingdom of God
I am happy about my salvation
that I can call God my Father

I want to be in holy places
singing of the glory of God
singing of all His wonders
giving thanks for what He's done on the cross

I never deserved so much grace
which He has given to me on the cross
I am a new creation
through the water and Spirit of God

God remembered me
that I am lost without Him
I lived in the dust of the world
and now I'm living in the light

And now I am walking with Him
He transforms me each day
The flesh is dying, the Spirit is living
Sometimes it costs to die

Soon I will see Christ
when He returns on His day
I want to be in the union of the saints

Die wichtigsten Korrekturen:

  • "On day" → "One day" – Tippfehler.
  • "his" → "His" (durchgehend) – Großschreibung bei Gottesbezug.
  • "I have heard and received a Jesus Christ" → "I heard and received Jesus Christ" – 1) "a Jesus Christ" ist grammatisch falsch (Eigennamen brauchen keinen unbestimmten Artikel), 2) "have heard" → "heard" (einfache Vergangenheit passt besser zum erzählenden "One day...").
  • "That I can say my father to God" → "that I can call God my Father" – die ursprüngliche Konstruktion war grammatisch unklar; "call God my Father" (Gott meinen Vater nennen) drückt den gemeinten Sinn klar aus.
  • "Singing the glory of God" → "singing of the glory of God" – "sing of something" (von etwas singen) ist die korrekte Präposition.
  • "what he s done on the cruz" → "what He's done on the cross" (mehrfach) – 1) Apostroph ergänzt, 2) "cruz" ist Spanisch für "Kreuz" – im englischen Text muss es "cross" heißen.
  • "the water and spirit in God" → "the water and Spirit of God" – 1) Großschreibung bei "Spirit" (Heiliger Geist), 2) "of God" (von Gott) ist hier die korrekte Präposition, nicht "in God" – Anspielung auf Johannes 3,5.
  • "I m living" → "I'm living" – fehlender Apostroph.
  • "He transformes me on each day" → "He transforms me each day" – 1) "transformes" ist keine korrekte Form (richtig: "transforms"), 2) "each day" braucht kein "on" davor.
  • "is dieing" → "is dying" – Rechtschreibfehler.
  • "when he will return on his day" → "when He returns on His day" – 1) Großschreibung, 2) nach "when" (zeitlicher Nebensatz für die Zukunft) verwendet man im Englischen das Präsens, nicht "will" ("when He returns", nicht "when He will return").
Praising enternaly the king

Originaltext in Spanish:

Escuché un día la llamada
arrepiéntete pecador
yo escuché y recibí a Cristo

él me transforma día tras día
la carne muere, el espíritu vive
cuesta a veces morir
Luego yo veré a Cristo

Teach me (Enseñame)

Hier ist der korrigierte Text:

Many times I don't understand the meaning of my path
I often wonder why I live here
Many things I did not do well in my life
But You tell me that everything has its purpose for You

Teach me to see life with Your eyes
Teach me the laws of Your kingdom
Teach me to love like You loved
Teach me to live with You, Lord

Father, You give me bread and not stone
But when I don't ask, I don't receive anything
I'm going to start asking with faith
I'm aware that Your plans are perfect for me

Sometimes You don't allow the world to deliver
because I have to learn to look only to You
You want to be the source of joy and happiness
Everything else is just a flower on the road

Living with You every day in Your presence
Spending my time and my life for You
makes me understand that You are the King of heaven
and even though I am small, I'm important to You

Die wichtigsten Korrekturen:

  • "you" → "You" (durchgehend) – Großschreibung bei Gottesbezug (wie in den vorherigen englischen Liedern).
  • "Many things I did not well in my life" → "Many things I did not do well in my life" – fehlendes Verb "do" ergänzt.
  • "all has its purpose for you" → "everything has its purpose for You" – "everything" ist im modernen Englisch gebräuchlicher als "all" in dieser Position.
  • "Teach me to live with you Lord" → "Teach me to live with You, Lord" – Komma vor der Anrede "Lord" ergänzt.
  • "I m knowing that your plans" → "I'm aware that Your plans" – 1) Apostroph ergänzt, 2) "knowing" im Verlaufsform passt bei "know" (Zustandsverb) nicht gut im Englischen; "I'm aware that" (ich bin mir bewusst, dass) ist die natürlichere Formulierung.
  • "to look only in you" → "to look only to You" – "look to someone" (sich an jemanden wenden/auf jemanden schauen) ist idiomatischer als "look in".
  • "a just flower" → "just a flower" – Wortstellung korrigiert ("just" gehört vor den Artikel, nicht dazwischen).
  • "Live with you every day...Spend my time...It makes me understand" → "Living with You every day...Spending my time...makes me understand" – die Satzkonstruktion war uneinheitlich (Imperativ-artige Verben, dann plötzlich "It makes"); durch die Umformung zu Gerundien ("Living", "Spending") als Subjekt des Satzes wird die Struktur grammatisch stimmig: "Living...and spending... makes me understand...".
  • "king of heaven" → "King of heaven" – Großschreibung als Ehrentitel.
  • "I m important" → "I'm important" – fehlender Apostroph.

As the deer bellows into the water

As the deer bellows into the water

my soul seeks water in you

You have water, living water

there is only rest in you

In the desert of life you give us to drink

Being with you, quench my thirst I don't need more

In how many moments of sadness your hand was on me

You are the almighty God nothing is impossible for you

You rescue me to be my friend and I will adore you

You show me many treasures when I faithfully seek you

You will not lack anything

Hier ist die korrigierte Version:

When the hope of your life disappears

When the hope of your life disappears
When you lose everything that was important to you
When the pain climbs over the joy
When the night surrounds you and you feel fear
He has a promise for you:

You will not lack anything
Even if the night of death reigns
You will not lack anything
Even if the enemies are laughing
And the shadows fall
He holds you in His hand
He is with you
There's nothing you lack

And you think these are all empty words
For where is God who loves you when despair controls you
And you ask about God's goodness
When in the valley of darkness you can't see anymore
Just believe, He said:

Maybe He doesn't give you what you want
But His table is set, He just wants you to come
Turn your gaze today
From all that scares you
To the One who gives hope
And be certain:

Wichtigste Korrekturen:

  • "night surrounds and you feeling fear" → "night surrounds you and you feel fear" (Verb korrigiert)
  • "shaddows" → "shadows"
  • "There s nothing" → "There's nothing"
  • Großschreibung von "He/His/Him" vereinheitlicht (üblich bei religiösen Liedtexten, wenn auf Gott verwiesen wird)
  • "of all that scares you" → "From all that scares you" (Präposition passt besser zur Bedeutung "weg von")
