Hier ist der korrigierte Text (basierend auf der Geschichte der Samariterin am Brunnen, Johannes 4):
She walked in the sun
in the heat of the day
far away from the people
She was alone and so afraid
of the fingers pointing at her
She was surprised to meet a person
sitting by the well there
He said to her: if you give me your troubles
I will give you living water in return
He is the living water
He stills the thirst of your soul
When you receive Him as Redeemer
you will never thirst again
Come, drink from the living water
Let your life be changed
And when you have drunk
from the water
you can give to others too
She had had five husbands
and the one she was living with
did not marry her
She was, for the people, a sinful person
They avoided contact with her
She was so surprised to meet Jesus
who knew everything about her
He said: I will give your soul the water
that you have searched for in men
Die wichtigsten Korrekturen:
- "pointing on her" → "pointing at her" – "point at someone" ist die korrekte Präposition, nicht "point on".
- "Whe was surprised" → "She was surprised" – Tippfehler.
- "Sitting on the well" → "sitting by the well" – man sitzt "bei/neben" einem Brunnen ("by the well"), nicht "auf" ihm ("on the well").
- "He said to her if you give me" → "He said to her: if you give me" – Doppelpunkt für die wörtliche Rede ergänzt.
- "receive him" → "receive Him" – Großschreibung bei Gottesbezug.
- "Let your life been changed" → "Let your life be changed" – "been" (Partizip) ist hier grammatisch falsch, korrekt ist die Grundform "be" nach "let".
- "She had five husband and whoom she was living with did not marry her" → "She had had five husbands and the one she was living with did not marry her" – mehrere Korrekturen: 1) "five husband" → "five husbands" (Plural), 2) da diese Ehen bereits in der Vergangenheit vor der aktuellen Situation lagen, ist "had had" (Past Perfect) korrekter als nur "had", 3) "whoom" ist kein englisches Wort und grammatisch auch nicht passend; gemeint ist "der Mann, mit dem sie zusammenlebte" – "the one she was living with" (Anspielung auf Johannes 4,18).
- "She was for the people a sinny person" → "She was, for the people, a sinful person" – 1) "sinny" ist kein englisches Wort, korrekt ist "sinful" (sündig), 2) Kommas zur besseren Satzstruktur ergänzt.
- "Who knew" → "who knew" – Kleinschreibung (kein neuer Satz, sondern Relativsatz).
- "He said I will give your soul the water" → "He said: I will give your soul the water" – Doppelpunkt ergänzt.
- "That you have searched in men" → "that you have searched for in men" – "search for something" braucht die Präposition "for".
